His band’s precise playing and high-energy renditions of Dylan’s work from the 1970s onwards have gathered momentum and generated incredible interest from modest origins as a project recognising Dylan’s 70th Birthday in 2011.
Since then Simply Dylan have gone from strength to strength – selling out the Cavern Club 6 times, receiving fantastic reviews for their international tours and opening up the Isle of Wight Festival on the Big Top Stage.
And tickets are currently flying out for their latest full band tour which takes in some of the country’s most prestigious venues including Gateshead Glasshouse, Salford Lowry and Liverpool Royal Philharmonic.
For this stripped-down acoustic show John will be playing with a 4-piece band featuring instruments including violin, sax, banjo, mandolin and of course harmonica.
